Originally founded as a studio in 1897 within a large ceramic company, James Macintyre & Co. Moorcroft pottery soon made its mark on the world. Today, Moorcroft leads the world of art pottery with its own distinctive design style.

This limited edition vase, each one signed and numbered, depicts a geometric design and features rows of bumblebees and echinacea flowers, which bees adore. Echinacea is a wonderful plant for pollinators, with its great supply of nectar and pollen, making it well worth the visit by a busy bee. Drought tolerant, Echinacea flowers for a long time, from mid-summer to autumn. It spreads easily by self-seeding and grows into big clumps that are easily visible to flying pollinators. Black tubelining has been used across the entire design to create a striking look, echoing the black detailing of a bee.
